A concept plan for a proposed urban infill neighborhood in Muncie, Indiana. Neighborhood features a mixed use core, a creek boardwalk and park system, compact single family unit development, pedestrian connections to an elementary school and a pedestrian bridge spanning over the White River. The street network integrates into the existing suburban street system. Current properties are buffered from the new development with native tree plantings and forest shrubs.
This looks like a very nice neighborhood to live in. The greener, the better. Good job! Is that the elementary school area with the bigger buildings on the left? Or the even larger one on the right?
The elementary is to the lower right and still exists. The group of building to the left are the mixed use condos separated by a storm water catchment creek that also serves as a wildlife habitat and river walk. And I agree, green is good!
